With this certification, we are authorized to offer our customers’ flexible capacity to grid operators, helping to alleviate congestion and prevent overload on the electricity network. Achieving CSP status confirms that COMCAM meets all technical and legal requirements to actively and reliably manage energy production and consumption.

What is congestion management?

Congestion management focuses on preventing overload on the electricity grid by intelligently coordinating energy production and consumption. For example, when excessive solar or wind power is generated in a particular area, COMCAM can:

• Increase demand (e.g., by activating electric vehicle charging stations).
