• Feasibility studies (subsidised up to €125,000): A comprehensive analysis of the technical and financial viability of measures such as battery storage, smart energy management, load shifting, or process modifications that reduce your grid dependency.
• Implementation support: If the feasibility study confirms that certain measures are effective, we guide you through the subsidy application and implementation process.

For fish farms with continuous water treatment, heating, and aeration systems, these measures can mean shifting non-critical loads to off-peak hours, optimising pump and heating schedules, or reducing peak demand. The key principle: adjustments work around your biological processes, not against them.

Flexibility as a revenue opportunity

If your farm already has adjustable loads, on-site storage, or shiftable processes, there is a separate opportunity: earning compensation by making that flexibility available to the grid. As a certified Congestion Service Provider (CSP), COMCAM can aggregate your flexible capacity and offer it to grid operators during congestion events.
