With Energy Intelligence, we offer smart solutions for sustainable energy management. Energy Intelligence provides you with online access to all data via our portal. From there, you will receive customized reports and an up-to-date overview of consumption, production, and returns. You can also opt to receive alerts. COMCAM has developed two proprietary tools for Energy Intelligence: CEI and the Control Box.

CEI
COMCAM Energy Intelligence (CEI) is a clear and user-friendly tool for gaining insights and monitoring your energy consumption, profile and peak load. These insights help you save energy, especially when you detect anomalies in consumption, and to improve sustainability.
Moreover, with CEI, you comply with the regulations that may apply to your company or office (such as the Energy Saving Obligation). Businesses (such as in hospitality, retail, office buildings, and warehouses) must be able to provide insight into their consumption (Information Obligation).
They must also take energy-saving measures that can be recouped within five years. With the CEI energy management portal, you always have insight into your total energy consumption, helping you avoid potential fines during inspections by environmental agencies.

What CEI offers
COMCAM Energy Intelligence (CEI) offers a portal for professionals who want insight into their consumption, clear information about the energy connections, the energy profile and peak consumption per site, per day, hour or quarter. You receive your data in clear reports, benchmarks, graphs and tables, allowing you to quickly identify deviations in consumption. The portal provides insight into energy-saving measures you need to implement to comply with the Information Obligation and helps you monitor implemented energy-saving measures. Finally, you receive management reports that allow you to justify your policy in the event of verification of the Obligation to Provide Information.

Efficiently manage the energy output of your solar or wind installation. This prevents you from paying for returning energy during negative pricing periods.
So much wind and solar energy is being generated that the market electricity price is increasingly negative due to oversupply. If you return the electricity you have generated to the grid, your company must pay for it. COMCAM helps avoid this as much as possible by enabling smart switching with your energy production.
What the control box offers
COMCAM’s control box is an online customer portal that protects against negative electricity prices. The energy output from your solar or wind installation is scaled back as much as possible during negative price periods, based on price expectations in the imbalance market. The control box is designed for production installations with large-scale consumers based on imbalance prices. When there is an unfavorable price on the imbalance market, energy production is scaled back to 0%. When the price is favorable, energy production resumes up to its maximum capacity. This ensures optimal returns on your solar or wind installation.
The control box is also suitable for other solutions for flexible power. During negative hours, you can accelerate operations such as cooling or battery energy storage, taking advantage of favorable energy prices.
